FMIC's, axlebacks and changes to muffler.....
I'll be giving you guys a call on Monday to order the I/C. I sure hope you guys have some still in. Stock intercooler is out and waiting for the new one.
So I should also removie the stock lower I/C piping too in order to prepare for the new piping?

Yes, go ahead and take that lower stock intercooler pipe off, it won't be needed. You can also remove the outlet pipe to your turbocharger, the black one. It comes with a new piece there too.

Good news guys!!
I ran the car on Friday night. My best pass ever in the car was a 12.48 at 111 mph. I managed a new best in it with a 12.37 at 112.15 mph. Kevin was also at the track. His best in the car before today was a 12.42 at 111 mph. He managed a new best also with a 12.26 at 112.47 mph!!!
This is great news. We made 6 passes with the car and they were between 12.38 @ 110.74 mph (worst run) to the 12.26 at 112.47 mph as the best run.
This is one consistent car, it is hard to believe how a couple of different drivers can run it and come up with the same times.
Take care,

Great times at the track. Good to see that the Evo is holding it's own out there.
How about the stock upper I/C pipe? Is is compatible with your new FMIC? I hope it does. I can't remember who I talked to there but he said it was. I just want to make sure. I should be getting mine here soon from you guys.

Thanx for making this product!
What must scrape first on the Evo front end before you'd hit your intercooler? Sometimes there's some pretty steep driveways and the Speed ****'s are putting in huge bumps around here. Especially if I decide to lower it (no more than 1").
Will the cutting of the front tray disturb airflow to the brakes? (best educated guess of course), and do you think by adding the OEM brake ducts would compensate if there might be a problem?

Cutting of the undertray doesn't effect the brake duct routing at all. The front fascia would hit something really tall before anything else would. I think you mean what is the lowest point of the car in that area. If that is what you mean than that little tow hook is still the lowest point.
We had put some new fuel in the car from a gas station we never used before. After adding it (advertised 94 octane) the car had a miss in it. I added 2 gallons of the race fuel out of the trailer to see if it would cure it. The race gas got rid of the miss. Since then with no other changes we went back to our reliable local Sunoco and refilled up on 94 octane and the miss is still gone. I think we had some bad fuel. Point is there was some race gas mixed in with the pump gas. On the straight pump gas that was in the car and the miss it ran one pass of 12.6 at 109 mph. Way off from before.
