Well my evo is 1 month old with 1200 miles. While i was reversing out of the stall at the mall this morning my shift linkage either popped out or broke, so now its stuck in reverse and sitting at my dealership but the service department is closed on the weekend. They wont be able to look at it till monday morning. I was wondering if anyone else had some crap like this happen to them. Also since this should be covered under warranty should also pay for my rental car that i had to get for the weekend? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

That's very weird. Sometimes, cars have problems where they get STUCK in one gear and they can't get out of it as hard as they tried. I think it WOULD be fair if they paid for the rental car that u got to replace the EVO for the weekend. But then again, the dealers aren't going to do that for sure. They're just too gay to do that for you. If you get a really really nice one, maybe, but I really doubt it. I've had a problem once a long time ago, when I was driving auto, when the car got stuck in 1st gear and I couldn't go above 25 mph or something like that.

Hey hayaku!! Where did you get your Evo from?... If you got it from a local dealer, I hope it wasn't the white Evo that got into a wreck during a test drive from an over-confident idiot. I heard that they were repairing it and reselling it.

I hope this isn't your car, and good luck with getting your Evo repaired.

Anyway where are all you guy's with evo's man?.... I haven't seen anyone with an Evo on the street, I thought I was the only one on the island. Well except for the crashed red one I saw at Kahala. Laters

 

I heard about that test drive, but that wasnt my car. In fact i just broke my car in not that long ago, but this whole experience bums me out. Oh wells ill found out more tomorrow about my car and the linkage or whatever it. Ive only seen 2 evo on the road so far a white one near ala moana side and a yellow one on the freeway.
