go with a solenoid. get rid of the MBC junk
My aem true boost EBC was very hard to tune and was all over the place. plus it would creep when to hallman and gained over 30tq on the dyno

if you guys are having trouble with solenoid then it means your either 1. not setting or routing it up right, or 2. not tuning it correctly.

sorry... a solenoid will perform better in just about every situation.

Ive used a Forge , Hallman and Home-made . They all worked about the same and they all taper .

But all fail in comparison to a GM 3 port , I gained 3 psi @7000 rpm .

yup GM 3 port solenoid is widely used among boosted imports and never failed. People sweat by it on Nasioc as well

I had a Forge, but ever since I first bought it, it was straight junk.. However, my brother had a Forge and it didn't have one single problem, I think I had a bad one or something. I now have the Hallman and I love it! Best MBC for the money, IMO!

Nearly all MBCs are the same....

Boost will change with the weather..... here's an idea check for a boost leak and fix or simply adjust your MBC to the correct level.

The GM3 port is the hot ticket for boost control. Instead of setting boost for a spike you can have rpm based boost control all via the ECU. No doubt better than any MBC on the market.

The problem I had with MBC, was the cleaning part. You have to add some sort of grease, silicone grease would be the best. After awhile, dirt and other deposits would build up and you need to clean and re-grease. The problem was setting the MBC back to it's original setting. With a GM3 Port, I get consistency relative to climate changes and a after market part that is stelth.

Now I'm seeing 24psi in this cold Chicago weather, last week I was barely seeing 21psi.

Anyone used the TurboXS MBC? My buddy is holding 30psi better then his old EBC.

My car is going to be stored all winter, so I want to add and improve the mods on my car by Spring time.

Taper has more to do with the spring in the WGA than the BC.
