2.2L & 2.3L Strokers Passing Emissions
[Search already done]
For those running 2.2L & 2.3L stroker engines: how are you passing emissions testing in your state?

2.3 passed no problems, and in the middle of making the 2.2 pass. I'm not seeing any issues going forward. You don't need the stock exhaust as long as you have some sort of cat on, weather it's stock or high flow. TN ECU plug. Stock ECU.

I live in Reno and they don't even check to see if your running a cat or do a sniffer test period. Not sure if it's the same in LV. You may want to post in the Las Vegas section of this forum, but regardless as long as your not throwing a CEL and your on the stock ECU you'll pass (standalone's don't normally have OBD ports).

Vegas does the sniff test but it's at idle w/o load.
Kalifornia has been doing loaded rolling dyno sniff tests for at least 5 years now. They were $120 to get that sniff test done, too(!)
Anyone have experience with a stroker on HKS F-CON vPro? Allegedly the vPro retains OBD II.

As far as the sniffer test in vegas goes all you need to do is just put the cat on for the test and you'll pass. Also why are you wanting to go with the F-Con? You can tune a 2.2 or 2.3 on the stock ECU.

My friend has it on his AMS 2.3RR race car. His name on here is BluByYouEvoVIII. Feel free to PM him. I can remember if he was actually using it or not or if it was a PITA to wire up and just skipped it. Either way he should be able to give you the answer your looking for.

F-Con is an option; it's certainly possible to use the stock ECU but there are plans for the future.
