Well those afr's sound good for a conservative tune, and if the timing is taken the same concervative tune then you should be fine 92.

to datalog do i need evoscan or ecu flash? also, im running the stock boost selenoid but have a hallman prorx mbc. since theres no tuners in texas close by me, and the army pretty much consumes most of my time andways...should it be a good idea to throw on the mbc just in case the boost selenoid decides to break on me while down there? only thing i never really liked was that i would have to change it with the weather....and the fact im paranoid due to engine movement, bumpy road, etc that the boost controller knob may turn by itself increase/decreasing boost levels without me knowing (i do have a boost gauge by the way)

First off what would make your stock sensor go bad or break without reason? stock sensors are highly durable and do not fail easily. I use a gm 3-port solenoid to control ecu boost just because the stocker is limited for what u can do and how much boost you can run. Plus I didnt want to mess with pills, etc.

Even the stock control will have variations due to weather / temps........

You could put in you mbc and set it around the same boost you are now.....and if u tighten the knob it wont loosen from bumps, etc (your being waaay over paranoid). If you do need to make small adjustments due to weather its rather easy.

Yes u need evoscan to log and ecuflash to read/write to the ecu, and a tactrix cable for both to operate.

yeah..i guess i really am being wayyy over paraniod lol. i was looking at a Mach V 3 port boost control seleniod http://machevo.com/mavbocoso.html

not sure how easy it would be to tune though...well i guess idkif my new tuner knows how. old tuner would know how much not practical to drive the 3 hours down over my christmas leave (im in the army). i already have ecuflash...it was free so im hoping i got the right one. ill have to buy evoscan and the tactrix cable. i thought maybe it'd break since ive got over 90k on the car (yes i drive alot lol) what do you think of that mach v 3 port? its only 99 dollars...i could always sell the hallman pro rx and get the 3 port. thanks in advance
