Manley 300M Alloy Connecting rods

I was searching around for my next year build and i saw on Manley's website that the came out with a new rod set which is made from 300M alloy steel...

I searched the internet and i found that this type of steel is used in EXTREME conditions and applications like airplane landing gear, etc...

Manley rates them for 1300+ bhp and the market price is around 1000 dollars which puts them along the most expensive rods in the Evo market like Carrillos, Cosworths, etc...

Any opinions, reviews from any users? Any Vendors to comment?

300M > 4340 billet

From what I know, 300M is about 20% stronger than the typical (non-Chinese) 4340.

FWIW, several companies make rods in 300M. It's nothing new.

The billet companies use the 300M. Carrillo uses their own "proprietary" forged metal.

Saenz also just started using 300M.

I can only tell you about the companies that I know use it. R&R, Saenz, apparently Manley. And I was wrong about strictly billets, as Dyer's Rods uses 300M forgings.

From what little I know, Dyer's, R&R and Carrillo are probably the tops in the industry. The first 2 use 300M.

Do you have any pictures of the design? Does 300m weigh more then 4340? What is the weight difference?
