Tial Bov spring?
I am getting ready to buy a tial bov but not sure which spring to get with it. I will be running around 28 to 31psi on pump and meth and probably 35psi on race gas so which spring would be best? Also how is the driveablility of this bov with an AEM?

I don't have Tial but when I had a Forge, it had different springs with different colors indicating different boost pressures... if Tial doesn't have a system like that, put one on test it out. If it surges, then move on to the next spring.

damn I am not sure what vacuum I pull. My car is down with the turbo and manifold off so I have no way of telling right now. How much are the springs so I could buy them and then return the ones I don't need?

I have the Tial Q and on the side of the box it says Q11. I have an SC61 turbo and 280 cams on stock ecu with no problems.
Edit: I think I'm usually between -6 and -7psi at idle. Or -12 or -13 hg i guess.

I just wanted to throw something out there for the Tial sport guy. I have a 7 lbs spring in my 50mm BOV. I switched from a 12 lbs spring that gave me a compressor surge issue. The 7 lbs spring does not hold boost past 23 lbs or 1.62 KG/CM^2. I can hear the boost leaking during a 5th gear pull. The vacuum chart didn't work for me in this case, in that my car reads 30 cm/hg or 11.8 in/hg and now has a boost leak issue when trying to go past 23 lbs of boost.
So, one's boost goal's should be a value to be looked at during spring selection. With that said, before I go back to the speed shop, how much boost does a 9 lbs spring hold? Given the information I gathered between the 12 lbs spring and 7 lbs spring, the 9 lbs spring should hold about 37lbs. Does that sound right? BTW, messing around with the 12lbs spring for the 50mm bov, I figured it is good for about 65lbs of boost. Does that sound right?
+ALSO RELATED+ After installing the 7 lbs spring I got a P0121 (Throttle Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Range/Performance Problem) trouble code.
BTW TiAlSport, I don't want you to think I'm undermining you in anyway, I might just be a special case, but using the chart for the vacuum to select a spring did not work for me.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Yeah, sorry for reviving this thread but I'm also having the same problem as the guy above me and it was right after installing a Tial 50mm BOV.
D-VO, did you fixed the problem after changing the springs on your Tial? Has anyone had a similar problem and would like to comment?
