I doubt many people who installed the ATI damper actually checked the hub ID and crank snout OD to verify there was the proper press fit. Furthermore, if it was not quite right...how many people do you think actually had the crank pulley honed to the correct size?I'm using a proper dial bore gauge to measure the crank pulley and nice micrometer to check the snout. I'll post my results.

I'll be using a 4G64 DOHC belt.
who are ? are you the brains behind mitsubishi... lol ... damn you know your stuff... subscribed

there is no way it will run, dont ruin the pistons and rings in it and waste the gasket money. .006" piston to wall is huge. .060" is beyond what would ever make it out the door without sucking the oil pan dry.

the wall thinkness im sure is thin, but the bore clearance is .0035, so were good there.

Yeah, i had CP custom make these, saddly no body along the way ever cracked open a book to see what the proper bore size should have been. Believe me id rather have had to look for a 2.0 block than to do this BS again.

thanks to all that have givin imput, you Evo guys are cool!

How did you get those prices from lesco? I was just there getting prices for the exact same machining and they wanted nearly $2800 for an assembled short block. That's just machining and assembly! I've bought all the parts already!
