Tial GT35R housing

Anybody using a Tial GT35R turbinehousing size 0.82 with a/c on their car?? I want to know if it is possible to use this housing if you have A/C on the car.

It's doable. The o2 housing is going to have the ugliest and tightest pie cut bend I've seen to clear the A/C condenser though. Something I wasn't willing to make.

what are the other options if you want a 0.82 housing with a normal bend O2 housing?

Chances are you will need a custom manifold made, or one custom modified. The reason it's hardly do-able is because of the position the manifold holds the large housing. If you have a manifold that holds the housing a little further away from the a/c compressor, you could utilize a more normal looking o2 housing, and fit everything a little more comfortable.

Think about it. The manifold that you decide to use will only hold the tial turbine housing in one spot, unless it's modified. I have almost the same problem with my turbo and no a/c, my turbo has a 3"vband discharge. My o2 is ugly as hell, it's fast though!

i wonder if any of the manifold manufacturers have thought of tilting the turbo to reduce the 02 housing angle. I.E. tilt the compressor side of the turbo up

not the best idea for the CHRA to be on an angle

Wondering why nobody made a manifold yet that moves the turbo a bit to the driverside, so that bigger turbines can be used for people with a/c. I think the market is big enough for this type of mani. Or are there other complications? Cant think of anything that would be in the way of moving it a bit.

You can get a pretty big turbo in there as it is. I think if you have the need for 800+whp, you can deal with no AC
