I prefer to buy from the evom vendors so I know I'm getting the right parts and have some recourse if there's a problem with the order.

That link was an EvoM vendor. Geovannie at SpeedClinic is here and on several other DSM/Evo forums. He is a good guy, no worries.

Yeah I agree with this guy. You paid almost new price for a used car. take it back and then take some of that cash and get some parts.

Some people say that spark tech is a really good ignition that is the one that i was planning on buying.

I like the kelford cams and if you are going with a big turbo then get the 272 cams.

I hope that we have all helped you with the decisions on your car.

i think im gonna go with the hks 272's and retain the stock gears, you guys are terrific, i got every single answer i need except 1. well maybe two haha.

the little black sensor thats clipped onto the braket that holds the intake manifold on, its under the manifold clipped onto the braket, it has a wire plug and 3 vacumm ports, what is it and do i really need it? previous owner had the egr taken off and they left this thing plugged in and just left the 3 vacumm ports open, im only assuming this was part or the egr removal, can i just unplug this thing and take it off my manifold braket? or do i have to hook vacumm lines back up to it, or cap the lines and leave it plugged in?.

and number two: simple. is there anwhere i can find a diagram on where these "thrust washers" go exactly, like a drawing or picture or something like that. and is there like book/manual i can buy for this car? like a really good one with every spec. and info i need on putting this car and engine back together?

one more. then im done. i promise.

where the transfer case bolts to the transmission it lookes like theres some kind of a oil hole or something where the 2 faces meet. it looks like it should have some kind of a washer/ gasket, is this true. its seems that if theres no little washer it will leak when i bolt them together and fill em up or am i just imagining things and should just bolt the 2 together?

no more questions............. for now...ha. you guys are amazing

You can find the workshop manuals on ebay (where I got mine) pretty cheap, like $20 and under, it's all on one cd. All of your specs and pics will be there.

The hole you are talking about should be the oil transfer hole, yes a small o-ring does go there.

I don't know about the sensor you are talking about, I'm going to be working on my car tonight so I'll check out where that stuff goes if someone elso doesn't post up first.
