BTTT to see if adrynalinjunkie ever fixed his problem. I'm having the same symptoms and was wondering if he could point out what went wrong with his and how he solved it.

I have been very confused on clutches lately. My experience with the Exedy twins is if you are over 400whp and like to Drag Race your car (Launch NLTS) you get about 30 killer passes of amazing NLTS and Launching and then it just loses its Edge and will no longer hold on the NLTS. Then at that point most people will accidentally burn the crap out of it and not really catch it. Then you will start having more and more lock out problems. (worse then new) The clutch will still last a long time lift shifting after this.

I never see them burn to the rivets they just stop holding the power and burn the carp out of the plates.

Also every Cerametallic style clutch makes Squeaking noise when you take off. Pretty much all your non carbon Twins, Trippls and pucked singles are that style clutch and will make noise while slipping them at low RPM and speeds.

Then you ask what clutch. Well most of the Exedy twins we convert over to tripples which can take a huge beating, but they add lots of drive train noise and sound like a box of rocks when you push it in. So making your EVO sound more like a broken beater.

I feel the QM twin is the best $$ option that will hold the hp and keep shifting good but it does drive alot worse then the Exedy twin .

The Tilton Ceramatallic is the worst driving twin I have ever driven.

I wish they would just make a even more HD Exedy twin.

If you are not a person who needs crazy fast shifts and dont launch a ton I feel the HD ACT street disc is a great simple option that will last well and hold the hp.
