12.6 at 110 for stage 1

Hey, guys after running at Qualcomm Fri night I decided to go to C-bad on Sat. I got there around 2:30 pm and they closed at 3:30pm. There was absolutely no one there at all. I would say when I got there, there was maybe 8 cars running total. It was great time to get some good practice runs in. The only problem was that it was pretty hot out there. No real breeze or anything.

Some of runs where against myself because there wasn't anyone up there to run me. I didn't care because I was just trying to get some numbers out of the car on good ole pump gas.

I ran a couple times to get a feel for the car. Finally I decided I better leave for the day, but wanted to get one more run before I left. Here you go

reaction .656
60ft 1.759
330ft 5.242
1/8th 8.127
1/8mph 85.24
1/4 12.684
1/4mph 110mph

I was pretty happy with it. I have the following done

RnR 3" SS turbo back
s-afc 2 (tuned by me)
RnR 3" Intake kit
RnR ground wires
RnR MBC

I will be doing the following in the next couple weeks. I plan on running deep in the 11's while still retaining everything that is so nice about the car.

264/272 cams
RnR FMIC kit
255lph
RnR T3/T4 Turbo Kit(60trim)
660's

There was one other EVO and a bunch of WRX's and a one STI. The racing was alrigth, but the track sucks. It is uphill with no prep work at all.

Honestly I would say the biggest gains for the EVO so far are

3" turbo back
S-AFC 2

If you are in San Deigo you should stop by our shop sometime. We are in El Cajon

With these limited mods our stage 1 cost $1600. So for $1600 you can run mids 12's. That is pretty impressive.

Not a fan of the works Reflash, not that is bad and DEF gets powwr. But you right where you are left off, and you cannot increase the boost. It is tuned for a stock application, but once you start modding and want more power, you will have to retune the car once again. Just get a SAFC or Greddy EMANAGE, but for an otherwise stock car, you will like it, but will eventually want more. Plus you cannot turn up the boost.

PLus using stock boost controll is stupid, I hooked up a MBC and SAFCII this weekend, the spool hist SO MUCH HARDER and FASTER as opposed to useing the factory EBC.

My car feels so mach faster with the SAFC, I am running 1.4 bar too, car loves it, it screams now.

Yes, that is why we use the s-afc 2. You can alwasy re-tune for changes that are made. Plus the afc and MBC make a huge difference on the EVO. Plus we give our free settings and install instructions with every order which make it so easy to work with.

110 mph is pretty damn good for those mods. How high is the boost?

I was running 20-21 psi.

I have a scanner built into my printer set up. I will see if I can figure out how to use it.
