Evo ignition problems

Alright so today I went to get my car tuned and came into some problems with the ignition breaking up. My setup includes a built 2.3L with a gt4088r turbo setup. Im running aem ems for the tuning. I have stock ignition as of now that came off my old engine with 84k on it. I was only able to run 17psi and make 428whp and 368tq before the ignition started to crap out on me. I know I can get a expensive ignition kit but is there anyway I can stick with a stock ignition setup or somewhat less expensive setup. My goal are right around 500whp on 92 and a little bit more with e-85. Let me know what you guys think.

Your stock coils with 84k are tired. You could get a HK$ DLI but you will be better off with a COP-CDI setup. What are your plugs gapped at? you can try to gap them down a bit but that may not help.

We tried to change the plugs and gap them differently, I made like 20 more whp after that. I have been looking at the spark tech or buschur setup.

Im doing gm coils with a dsm ignitor. It was posted ealier if you search its called seperate ignitor coils/ working on stock ecu. Its a cheap alternative that a few have been testing. Im still awaiting my ignitor to come in but pm Broxma or ummm Sparky i think it is. Ill try and find the link also for ya.
