I don't think my EVO likes the cold...
Bigger cams + very cold weather = SES light for random misfire (P0300). When the temperature gets above 35 degrees, the SES light goes away! Lolz, WTF?
Its running a tad bit leaner in the cold, is your tune conservative?
Have noticed anything on the UEGO?
Im at rutgers all the time, my car has been loving this weather, I've had my SES light on for awhile and I traced the code back to my TP 02 sensor.

Car was tuned back in October when it was still relatively warm out. My UEGO reads between 14.7 - 15.1 at idle but sometimes it'll hiccup (especially when its freezing out) and will cycle quickly from rich to lean and vice versa.
I'm not sure whether I have an aggressive or conservative tune to be honest.

I am not sure but it may also have soething to do with the winter blend (fuel). I dont get CELS, but the car does feel different and overboosts once in a while it its too cold.
Do a search on the error code 0300.
My car throws the error as well, and I live in sunny ca. The harmonics can get off balance which causes the ECU to throw the code. I guess one of the senors in the tranny (don't remember exactly) is to sensitive. Some flash tuners out there have solved this problem already.

Yeah I mean, the code doesn't even affect my car's driveability. There's no hesitation, stuttering, delay, etc. when accelerating. It's just the damn light comes on and off as it pleases...And I thought it had to do with the cold weather. Like my idle can get very choppy at times when it's freezing outside. But today it was warm out and the idle was nice and smooth and sure enough, no more SES light.
Odd, winter blend fuel could have something to do with it combined with the cold temps.
Keep an eye on it and let me know if you get concerned, we can turn it off permanently.

I don't mean to thread-jack you, I hope you don't mind.
I had mine come on for the first time today after swapping plugs. I had IKH24, replaced them with new IKH24 and actually threw the code upon start up today. Should I be concerned?
