The all new clutch poll!!!
Well, mine is finally starting to slip at 23K and I do drive the car hard. Not all the time, but I do get on it. I think its how you treat it, but I dont know, some havent had any luck at all with their clutches.
Well, my clutch isnt slipping bad yet but its engaging really high now. I had WORKS adjust it for me and it feels a little better. Sometimes when i pull away in first i have to rev it to about 2k for it to start moving or it wants to stall. What do you guys think? I also have this slight vibration noise when im at idle, but only sometimes. I baby my car too.
I see a WORKS CK2 in my future. Any comments are appreciated.

26K and I began noticing the first slippage under modest boost on the highway. The restrictor has been out since about 21K. Wish I had done it early on, it's so easy to do once you're in there.
I think that it would have lasted another 10K.
Most of the milage was highway BUT I developed around 100 extra HP & Trq at about 15K miles and, although I rarely burned the clutch, I did push it hard during accelerations, which I imagine affected the life and holding ability.
As much as I LOVE my Evo and wouldn't trade it, Mitsubishi fell down hard spec-ing the clutch for the car. In fairness, I guess you can't expect a clutch that's spec'd at 240 WHP to run all that long at 340 (aprx) WHP for very long, but that's my excuse.
What about the all the "stockers" that are losing theirs at less than 15K.
Average Aftermarket Replacement Clutch $600
Labor for the install $550
The look on the owner of a brand new Mustang Cobra's face after you smoke his pony's *** ...........PRICELESS !!!!!
