http://www.tenagah.com.au/turbo1.htm

I know this is an old thread but does anyone know what was the turbo installed by the Guys here the td06sl2r-20g Or was it the just the td06sl2-20g?
Wheel Size

Compressor wheel :* 52.5 / 68 mm

Turbine Wheel: 54.1 / 61 mm ( 11 blades of TD06SL2R Turbine wheel)

I think there is a general agreement here that you can't just piece together a turbo and expect; the reliability, performance and quality of reknowed turbo suppliers like CBRD, FP or MAP. I agree. But there are a few out there who have some success. Take for example me: I have a Billet 20g(10 blade wheel: made by Sumalaya a.k.a snailturbo) using a TME turbine in a with stock evo 9 center section mated to a Kinugawa anti surge housing. So far I'm having sucess with it; no surge common to most 20gs. I will get it tuned soon. I'm curious to try the TDO6sl2r turbine but not before I see what the TME can do. experimenting anyways so why not.

Interested in the test result.

I am testing TD06SLR2 with the same Sumalaya billet 10 blade 20G turbo here.

Pretty fast spool compared to regular 20G cast Kinugawa, but haven't tested it at high boost for more power yet.
