Exedy Twin Users with High HP Please Chime in!!!
I'm looking for input from users that have Exedy Twin HD's please...
I'm debating whether to get a Triple HR or Exedy Twin HD... and I'm going to have 500+awhp, daily driven, and I want it to last...
So the question is... How much power do you have with your Exedy Twin HD? Have you had this power, since you purchased the Exedy Twin? How many miles has it lasted or if it is still going, how many current miles do you have it?
Please help me decide which one is best for my application. Thank You

The Exedy Twin should be enough for the power you going for. There's alot of good feedback on the forum about the Exedy Twin most tend to say there really good for DD and are very easy to manage around town.

The twin will last for at least 40 launches and 15k miles. I can no longer no lift to shift it but it will still hold if I lift to shift or daily it.
We took Lucas' Triple HR apart to check it for wear before we put it back in and it had worn 20% in 15k miles with alot of racing and daily driving. The main difference is the triple is solid and is FAR NOISIER than the twin. The twin chirps a little but is basically quiet with the clutch pushed in, where the triple sounds like its broke.
If you can put up with the noise the triple is a better option for higher horsepower daily'd cars. There are soon to be some new releases in the clutch game for Evos...Stay tuned.

Exedy makes all sorts of exceptional noises some not so exceptional...depends on what went wrong during installation .
Holds 400lbs torque well..even with aggressive driving..but as soon as you get past that golden number in torque, you will get early wear.

I have an Exedy Triple Cerametallic and its awesome....im 400-500 awhp at various times and its been excellent for 15,000ish miles.....super noisy but hey its a racecar/dd what do you expect....feels nothing like a stocker but at the same time it is no peach in standstill traffic on the eway.....
