Well the other day I was offered to test the New Tomei Arms Turbo by Marco@Billet Design Motorsports. I figured since Diirk had a great setup and a good car to test this thing on to compare it to his green we'd use his car. So today we headed up to Billet Design to try this bad boy out. We get there and the turbo looks great. Install was easy and Tomei provided all hardware and gaskets. We went to log it on the street and the car feels great. We started with pulling timing out and adding fuel before even getting on it and the car feels just as strong. So tommorow were going to dyno the car and post results.
The car baselined at 448 whp 431wtq@28psi so were gonna see what happens tomorrow.

The artwork on that compressor housing has gotta be worth 5 hp at least..."The raised letters act as cooling fins to reduce intake air temp." (JK)

 

Somebody's gotta send this thing to FP for a Red conversion and see what that big comp. housing can really do.

So you're making 441whp and 431wtq, on the stock IX turbo? What kind of fuel are you running? Is it straight pump, or you're mixing it with meth, etc...????

 

Lets see what Tomei brings for the Green competition.

I am expecting the power to be very linear and good competitive numbers against the Green

diiirk will chime in with that but its e85 28psi etc

 

mod list is in my signature. ive never been good at guessing dyno numbers, but it feels realllly strong so far.
