hey ted, jake's 4088R evo did pretty well too, and there is plenty of room for improvement (he has the magnus manifold and stock tb right now)

I know youll probably get up tight over this but just tell me what FAST EVO on boost alone can you name that runs those 2 turbos?? I can name 15+ than ran 9's on smaller t3's.. leave those 4088's and 94's for Hondas and Vr6's.. They dont work well on Mitsus from my 1st hand experience..
No offense also but I was one of the first to run a Gt40 on my Evo and it soon was thrown in the trash can

Anyone who wants a custom Gt40 manifold I would be happy to sell it for $200

The small 42 is my recomendation

So once again i ask.. Show me 1 FAST all boost 4088 or 4094 EVO.. FAST i mean mid 9's.. I wouldnt use a 4088 or 4094 only to get walked bya car with an FP RED..
And I think you have a 8 sedond slip to back up your opinon

What do you mean not in the game very long ?

Mike has quite an operation going on down there are from what I gleamed from him he has been invloved with cars for a long time

Results speak louder than words

Not too many 8 second street cars around my friend

I have always admired and respected Full Race so please don't tarnish that respect by insulting those who may have a different opinion than you

It had decent spool up but was also on a stroker, it had no top end power, a GT35r would have had the same results down low and spanked it's *** up top.

Sorry, I'm not drinking the twin scroll GT40 coolaid, it tastes like ****.
Interesting comment - but not suprizing to hear

If thats the car here is the data,..

Timeslip: 9.961 @ 143.330
Dyno: 740.3whp/696.0 lb-ft

At 3100lbs with a 67p trim my black car went 9.59@148mph.. at 2920lbs my RS with 6262 went 8.98 @ 156mph .. Just supplying some hard data once again that shows the 4088 and 4094 are PIGS in comparison.. They have no ***** on top.. 143mph is being done on pump gas by accident these days..

Maybe I should just wait for that new turbo to come out, the one AMS is messing with then, I can make the same power at a lower boost level. I don't need 800hp......"or maybe I do " I just need a solid every day 700 that's not going to destroy the turbo something running around 36'ish psi.

if how you drive is all highway high speed high RPM then why did you go with a 2.3l motor over a high reving 2.0l motor????

I remember reading in a previous post in another thread that FP uses a higher grade of billet aluminium with higher strength to carve out their CNC'd billet wheels than the material that Precision uses for theirs. Is that what you're making reference to?

AMS told me that was the best set-up for a street car, but then again they didn't really know me at first I Warned them

Anyway at first I hated the 2.3 the short rev span the gearing , But after talking to John Shep, I was convinced the 4.11 gear is what I needed to unleash the power that was being held up by the lack of rpm and the stock gears even with the longer evo8 gears that I had. The 4.11 gear gave me new love for my car as it opened her up and now it's giving me the MPH that I was looking for where it use to fall short.
