i was coming from school on the freeway and was merging on i was already in 5th gear at about 55 and had to pick up speed a little bit so i stepped on it slowly ( not hard at all) but it was building boost slowly till it seemed i was at about 70 and all of a sudden the boost just cut out and my check engine light came on at the same time. what could it be?

well i just put nisei on and my car is not tuned for that and the flash is very basic too so im thinking fuel cut or boost cut.

 

Shouldn't be fuel cut or boost cut. Something else is going on.

That only typically occurs when you put in an o2 housing coupled w/ our cold weather in the midwest= boost cut.

You probably leaking boost. Slap on some t-clamps and resecure everything

 

yeah it was really cold out when i was driving though so idk
