PPI Intake manifold

Im am interested in knowing if the coating option they provide for it is worth it. Has anyone had this done to theirs? If so does it gain a good amount of power? Its a $200 option. I wanted to know before i send out a intake manifold to get ported. Thank you in advance.

i had my exhaust mani ported from PPI and it looked like they just cleaned it up. So i had SpeedCorps port me one and it was well worth it. For the intake mani, go to MikeAWD for the buschur intake mani porting/exchange and get the MILSPEC 65MM TB and call it a day.

Its only a $90 option on MAP's intake manifolds for that same heat-dispersant coating plus a special one used on the head flange that reflects heat.

Looks pretty good IMO:

I coupled mine with a phenolic (heat barrier spacer) gasket and throttle body coolant line bypass to keep my intake charge as cool as possible.
