I'm getting ready to order one, and I see there are 2 different types:
- Walbro 255lhp Fuel pump
- Walbro 255lhp High Pressure Fuel Pump

The high pressure one is rated for 500whp but it $6 cheaper

Which one should I get.

if i was you, get a Walbro 255 and use as a lift pump to your surge tank, then get a bosch 044 external pump from the surge tank to engine. You can add a 2nd Bosch 044 later if your chasing massive power. Single Bosch 044 is good for 450-500whp

 

I ahve only heard of one type of the Walbro. I would assume its a mistake.
