I was thinking about going with an AVO 3" full exhaust and wanted to get some feedback from anyone familiar with them. They are a little more expensive than others though, and They seem to have more products for WRX's. Also, I heard that their current system for EVO uses the stock cat and tapers to accommodate. Could this affect performance? I was told by
Brainstorm Performance that they are getting a true 3" from AVO in about a week with no
taper, but it may not fit the stock cat as well. I also was told that there was not a real difference in performance between the two?

Any opinions...

Would it be better to get the full 3" with a high-flow cat?
and if so could it be smog legal?(only cuz I'm in Cali)

The exhaust pictures are up on our site. There are others scattered around on EVOM. I don't know that we have a specific picture of the system with the Magnaflow. The Magnaflow is a larger can than our muffler and it polished like a mirror.

GP, we have a true 3" system now, with a 3" flange to bolt to the stock cat with no reducer. System is $450 or you can get our complete system now on sale for $820 shipped to your door.

Mr. buschur, Your exhaust is actually my second choice.
You don't have any sound clips available for your exhaust by any chance.
I wish you guys were local.
I want to do a full exhaust and if I was to purchase yours are there any
shops in my area (san diego) that you would recommend for install.

To be honest this exhaust can be put on the car in your driveway with a couple of hand tools. With the new changes to the downpipe we have made it is SUPER easy to put on and line up.

I do not have sound clips but there are clips scattered all over EVO M.

Thanks,

What's the quietest exhaust on the market right now? I want something along the lines of a Supersprint exhaust (quiet but makes power). I know about the B&B and the AMS, however I've seen the AMS sound videos and it's still too loud when taking off from a standing start. I've also had experience with B&B Triflow on BMW's and they are notoriously loud and have had rusting problems in the past as well.

Compared to stock, just how loud is it? I want something slightly louder than stock, but not too much louder.

Does anyone on here have a Pruven Axleback exhaust and if how do you like it? They claim 12hp gain and that it works as good as a catback. I like the sound but want to know if it is worth it or should I just wait until I can afford a catback.

The WORKS Stealthworks Muffler was designed to be the most quiet EVO exhuast on the market without sacrificing too much power. It is fully compatible with the stock intermediate pipe or either the 70mm or 76mm WORKS IPs. And at $199...

Hey, im new to the forum. I've looked through the last 30 pages of this thread trying to research exhausts. But i didnt find exactly what i was looking for. I was wondering if someone could compare the B&B, Borla, and the Buschur exhausts. For example whats the ranking order of loudness, deepness, horsepower gains, weight. I am looking for an exhaust with a tip that isnt like the usual HKS and Greddy one because where i live, the cops look at that and then give your car a full inspection, so i dont wanna draw too much attention. Thanks for your help.

go with B&B it has great HP gains. my buddy just got a busher with magnaflow muffler and he had to RE-BEND everything to get it to fit. and it still does not come out of the back the way it should. apexi also makes a world sport for the evo it looks more like the B&B or Stock and it will not be very loud. I have a JIC bullet and love it JIC also makes a spartan muffler that looks more like stock. JIC has awsome quality with their titanium exhaust. I would think the stainless versions are just as good if not better.
