ok guys looking got some help.
ive got an evo 7, custom dump and 3 inch front pipe to hiflo cat. After that its just straight mild steel 3 inch pipe to s bpm exhausts cannon. The system as a whole is pretty quiet but opens up when the revs get above 3000. The only issue i have is that when the revs are above 5000 or on hard down shifts the system sounds really raspy and tinny.
I am able to get my hands on the diff back part of a kakimoto regu 06 & R, now this looks a little better then my bpm cannon, the kakimoto is a 80mm pipe to the cannon which i found specs saying its 150mm then to a 100mm tip. Im hoping by changing the cannons i will lose this raspy, tinny sound in those rev ranges (better quality steel im guessing will help)
Another issue i have is when looking down the cannon the kakimoto looks alot smaller in diameter then my current bpm set up. i tried to measure it, the inner diameter of my bpm is about 60mm where else the kakimoto is about 50mm. I have all basic bolt on mods done and dont want to restrict my exhaust in any manner as to lose power.
any feed back would be great!
