Cobb 3" Downpipe
Test Pipe
Jun BL exhaust
Pros - minimal bends, V-Band, full stainless, Fits great, no resonators
Cons - Loud... I would not recommend this for a daily driven car... It could be a bit much after a while. I had just the exhaust on with a stock DP and a cat and I didnt think it was too loud. With the test pipe and downpipe it is loud especially at WOT but it sounds awesome.

I have a 2.5" Tanabe downpipe (with a RRE Rally Cat with resonator and an 80mm Greddy TI-C cat back exhaust) that I'm thinking about swapping for a 3" dp. I'm wondering how many horses would I gain by doing that mod? Like 6hp? 10hp? Is it worth it? I have a used cheap Helix dp that I'm looking at for $100. Does it really matter if it's Helix, Jasma, HKS, etc? Thanks!

Yeah, ok but would I see a significant increase by doing this? Would those extra .5" equate to 10 more hp? What do you think?
I'm saving up for a better turbo right now and would rather keep saving than spending $100 here and $100 there (which btw is VERY easy to do with a new car....lol!).

Alright so right now I'm thinking of getting a new exhaust soon. The previous owner had an ATR Pitbull exhaust (never heard of it before). The exhaust is good for now but it's just loud and not that deep, plus it sticks out of the rear bumper like 2 1/2". I'm looking for a really deep sounding exhaust, but not incredibly loud. I kinda want it to be like my friends exhaust, he has an STi and his muffler tip (idk what exhaust it is) looks like it has a 5" diameter, it huge lol and ******* loud. I've heard good things about Greddy and AMS, what would you guys recommend?

2. On my Evo I have the Full 3inch Perrin stainless exhaust. It is deep and throaty. On the highway it doesn't drone at all. Under WOT it gets loud, but I like the tone alot. Its all stainless so it shines up nicely. Uses stock location hangers which makes installation much easier. The tip is located perfectly. Tucks right where it ought to be instead of sticking out like some of these other systems I see.
thanks yea i looked into that Perrin and is it a whole catback exhaust? or headers or wut? and also i been looking at Blitz Nur spec cat-back exhaust do you recommend that?
and this is wut im aiming for to sound like... and thanks for helping me out
