i have another one and it sounds just like the the plastic bov but this one sounds alot different like an aftermarket bov

 

Is that car in the video set up with the stock induction box, an altered stock box, or an aftermarket intake?

 

ppi maf pipe and k&n cone filter, im pretty sure the bov is crap though it flutters when letting of the gas and doesnt sound stock i have another ix bov that i bought brand new (JDM mr one) to be specific and they sound completely different

 

yes it is it sounds like that because u have a intake on the stock tube when u upgrade ur intake pipe it will not make that sound anymore and would sound alot better ... i belive you do have a stock intake pipe correct?

 

no i have the PPI intake pipe thats on in the video, and it doesnt sound much different then stock rubber one

 

really maybe it could be from ur upper pipe is that stock

 

yeah its stock i bought htis one off a member on here and i questioned it so i bought another ix bov (jdm mr one) same thing. and that one sounds the same as the plastic one, this one thats one right now it flutters alot and i just think its garbage but i boost leak tested it today and found no leaks idk i just kept it on for today just to test it out some more will put my other one on again tomorrow

 

yea bro i belive its from ur uper pipe i remember when i put on on with stock pipes it would flutter like that. Until i got full intercooler piping and the up pipe would make it flutter because it takes the air from there and the bov throws it back in the intake tube.

 

yeah but the other bov i have doesnt flutter at all and its the same thing oem metal one lol thats why im confused

 

lol really wtf is it boosting the same pressure thats funny idk just sell it i guess lol

 

yeah it holds boost the same, but flutters when i let off the gas in boost so idk i dont wanna sell it and screw over someone else ill just make a necklace out of it it or something ahha jk

edit: nvm i guess flutter is normal if letting off the gas in boost, so this bov is all good!.
