Tune or MBC?

I am ready for a tune minus the MBC that I already have, with the crappy 91 octane here in AZ my tune will only be at 20psi. Should I just go ahead with getting my tune since I'm already at 19psi? The only reason I'm hesitant is that the HP TurboXS MBC seems kinda hard to setup with the "coarse" settings. I understand its a weak question, I've just been going back and forth about it for a while.

yeah! it's a weak question. Just get an evo well-know mbc and tune and get it over with.

I had a turbo XS dual stage and it worked out great. easy to tune to be honest

I would get the MBC awhile and then have it for when you go to tune. You can get a single stage hallman for like $70 or so Im sure.

a good tune on 91 oct should able to boost up to 24-25 psi with very minimal knocks so get an mbc before getting tune. I hope this is a "stronger" answer. :-)

No way are you going to be able to run 24 - 25 psi on 91 octane unless you have pulled crazy timing out and then just watch your EGTs go up and boom....91 octane and 20 - 21 psi seem to be fine....

Now, why don't you look in the ECUFlash section and use the ECU to control boost? You'll get much better control over your boost curve, retain the factory safety features, and make broader power (there are numerous posts and dyno showing the before and after)....
