most will say synapse or forge. Hks is not really compatible for evos for some odd reason but some has gotten to work with no additional work besides the recirc. kit. I had the greddy type-s before and all was great until the diaphragm tore after 20K.

Synapse because you will never outgrow it, it is adjustable to make it work for whatever application you have (fast spooling stock turbo, or laggier medium or large frame turbo at high boost). I bought mine when I was still on the stock VIII turbo and couldn't have been happier. Great DV, looks great, works great, holds boost no problem and I was finally able to get rid of the part throttle compressor surge. Contact Synapse for more details. I am still running the stock MAF as well with no problems.

Depends how much boost you wil be running- unless you are going to run high boost why not your stock BOV? Get a recirc unit if you NEED to replace it for one that handles upwards of 25psi... I just bought an APS twin vent which is a recirc unit, you should look into that piece as well

Thanks for all the feedback guys, my car currently has a FP red and I am contemplating in running at least 30psi on race and 23-24 on pump!

While dynoeing the car last nite, the stock BOV was surging like no tomorrow.... hence the birth of this thread!!

Can I incoporate the synapse DV with the injen piping kit without any mods? I am pretty sure the answer is yes but I would like to confirm!

Once again, thanks for all you help members of EVOm

IMHO go for synapse! i had the risk of ordering it all the way to the middle east, AND i never regret it! i tried HKS and the stock DV but the synapse DV is the Best ever. you wont imagine the response speed of the DV and the way it holds boost..
+1 Synapse for such a great product

I used the Synapse for a short period with my Injen intake and UIPC, it worked fairly well. Later on I upgraded to the Buschur stuff and it worked great there too. Just FYI the BOV doesn't surge, the compressor does, and it's very bad for the turbo.

APS twin-vent - DV and BOV - all-in-one. Expensive, but holds pressure and no flutter.
