Transmission swap?
Depends how much of it you want. Trans is perfect other then the 4th gear and the 4th gear on the main shaft. I have it apart and have picures of everything. I also have everything needed to do the swap. I can let it all go pretty cheap but shipping will not be cheap for the trans.
Ok, I love to run up in the canyons, and im trying to build a track/street car. so ur sayin the 5 speed is the better way to go for that then? and i really need a rebuild and am tryin to get info on wether or not i can do it myself and how expensive it is, and if not how expensive is it to get done, how to find a place that does good work, cause im the type that doesnt trust a lotta repair shops, and i know that the dealer is gunna be mad expensive! dont wanna go there really.

My 6SPD has given me no issues. Great feel to it as the ratio feels perfect with 6th being tall enough to rev fairly low at 60MPH and at the same time be able to shift down to 3rd and be in the middle of your powerband. Also the close ratio makes the car feel a lot faster. 400WHP and a 6SPD feels perfect to me.
With all that said, I have a Shepherd Ultimate Ratio trans on its way to me. I hope I don't regret the swap, but frequent trips to the drag strips with 500+WHP in the future caused me to switch just to be safe.
