Unmodified, as in not even mods to make sure the honeycomb doesn't get inhaled by the turbo? I've been meaning to epoxy mine in place, though I really want to convert to speed density sooner rather than later and get rid of the MAF altogether.

Wouldn't see why not. As long as you don't have a CEL and can pass the sniff test, should be good to go.

^It wasn't intended to be a "gotcha" post. I was just trying to point out a potential issue on this build.

First to answer the question. NO it is not epoxied in, never even heard of that before. It is STOCK and I mean STOCK.

We missed the stock ECU ET record by just a hair today, we ran 10.35 quite a few times today. I do believe the car just set the MPH record though, weighed in at 3236 pounds with driver. Full exhaust with two mufflers, FP Red, stock ECU, stock MAF, E85......138.53 was the best mph and the car ran over 138 mph 4 passes.

The last 5 passes were between 10.35 and 10.36! Trent was driving.

I'm going to start a new post about this.

Wow. where did the extra MPH come from? did you change rear end back to 4.5? or was it just the light wheels and tires? or other?

Nice! Damn, that thing weighs like 60lbs less than my Evo 8 with me driving and I'm skinny as all hell! lol. Is Trent secretly a garden knome?lol

This was a great build to watch come together. Are there any plans to take this car to Mid-Ohio or something along those lines?

This car will not see Mid Ohio. I won't risk wrecking it, too nice. I'll be down at Mid Ohio for three days this weekend, racing the Eclipse.
