Yes, the car, as it sits is how it is running Winged Warrior. I will bring some other tires but other than that, it is ready for the event.

I can do the build again haha I wouldn't change a thing honestly. We've built so many EVO's I knew what I wanted. I'm not saying nothing will get changed in the future as I have a few things planned but the car came out how I wanted it to. The power/tq isn't quit as high as I had hoped but it was nearly 90 degrees today. I also have boost and tuning left on the table. The 500 on our dyno I feel is very possible. I am really happy with the way the car came out.

That's crazy fast for 22 psi, too fast for that turbo at that boost, you sure the gauge isn't broke? haha We did not video the dyno pulls, I should have but it was hectic and the dyno videos on a car like this are pretty boring. No flames, no back fires, just clean smooth pulls.

No boost gauge, it was all logged via AEM EMS. I was stunned too! With the stock turbo we dynoed it on a superflow dyno and it put down 431whp/457wtq with the good ole stocker (8 turbo with 10.5 housing) then I switched up the turbo setup. It has the tial v-band .82 A/R exhaust housing on it. It was better known as the fp3065 turbo. I was going to use your cast manifold, but that deal fell through and JMfab helped me out with a v-band manifold. It seems to perform very well!
I then thought about the boost level and was wondering the same thing if the map sensor was off by a bit, so I hooked up another 3.5bar map sensor to my Zietronix wideband and it was showing 22-23lbs as well

After that day I was still in denial about the 10.95 pass, so I went back out the very next weekend with the same settings/boost/and tune. With 7mph head wind I backed up my 10.95 @130mph pass with a 11.001 @129.8mph. But then got the boot right after that pass

Anyway, I can send you the log if you would like dave, don't wanna clutter your thread up with my car. I will PM you.

david,

well done..... im glad you are enjoying a stock ecu car on E85....

I did a 2.3 tune yesterday on a stock 8 turbo and the spool was awesome.... gotta love the 2.3....

knowing the flow of the turbo you are using, and what we built for our time attack car... im anxious to get our car dynoed to see the spool with the twinscroll and our vertical ic piping on the TA car with our Buschur Racing 2.3 liter motor and head...

Im also finishing 2 more BR 2.3s in the next week or so... ill be sure to post results, both on stock ecu

good work david.

cheers

One quick question that I forgot to ask - is your wheel/tire clearance as is with the S1s at the stock setting or is there any added drop? Those coilovers sound interesting for my application and the price is good, but I want to clean up the gap a bit, and that doesn't look too bad. Thanks!

Nice results. I am glad to see you stayed with the stock ECU.

Dave can you do a dyno graph overlay of your RS versus Project White?

Congrats on finishing the project. After tinkering with the stock ECU some more, has this effected when/how you recommend standalone like AEM or PowerFC to customers? I've done some tinkering with stock ECU on a friends car recently, and I must say the software used and the workflow of tuning is a PITA compared to nice standalone. I'm used to Autronic which is absolute heaven software wise compared to EvoScan / EcuFlash.
