What bolt size to plug up O2 bung?

I just installed my TBE and the only problem I've had is getting the rear O2 sensor out.
I've torched around it.....wouldn't budge.
Soaking with PB Blaster now.

I'm going to take it to a shop tomorrow and let them get it out....or try to...lol

If it gets destroyed, What size bolt would fit in the bung to block it off?
So far I've searched 10 pages and nothing. Maybe I'm searching the wrong words.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply but nobody has one in stock....not even mitsu.
It would be a 3 days to a week and I'm going out of town on Monday.

I'm assuming (please correct me if I'm wrong) that since our cars will run fine with a CEL when using a straight pipe, that unplugging it and capping off the bung (until a sensor comes in) will give the same CEL and I can drive the car.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. If not. Anyone know a bolt size to cap it off until a new sensor can be located.

Thanks

Do you have an Ace Hardware store near you? If so, they carry the o2 sensor bung back in the bolts/nuts section.

I am not certain of the exact size but it is the same as a common size transmission drain bolt. many autoparts stores should have them stocked

Thanks for all the replies.

I found a plug for the hole

I can't imagine paying $200 + for the rear O2.

I bought a universal O2 sensor that crosses to a 99 turbo eclipse, for $59 I believe.
I just now need to figure out what the wires are.

Black= heater wires
Blue=
White=

One is the signal and the other is the ground.

Anyone know for sure?

Found what I needed and got the Bosch universal O2 sensor all wired up.

Works perfectly now with no CELs

Like I mentioned above, I believe the O2 sensor was around $50 - $60, which is much cheaper than the direct replacement.

If you're looking to replace your after cat O2, I would suggest this method and save a ton of money.

Thanks again to everyone who replied
