a 35r w/ a .63 would even do well if you are only going to go mid 7s or so (rev wise)and should have a nice and thick powerband.

The OP has almost the same mods(albeit w/milder cams, ad lower boost) as you and the same engine displacement. Both are running pumpgas as well. See his post #22 in ths thread. Your car's power should be roughly equivalent to the output on his.
Honestly, I'm working on a 2.4l and I think anything smaller than a black is a waste. The powerband will fall apart before 7k. The Red is great on a 2.0 but a bit small on a 2.3 or 2.4.
I'm looking at doing a 6235 or HTA3582 w/ TS 1.06ar turbine housing. Both should spool fairly quick and be able to pull to 8k

I say HTA 3586 configured with a TS 1.06 for your 2.4L. You won't be happy with the smaller turbine in the 82. Too restrictive for your goals.
I just get my new PTE 6262 0.82A/R for my 2.3l i will try to get a least 650whp with my configuration but i believe i will have to replace my 272hks and injectors, i will post later to add my results.

I definitely strongly disagree with that. To say it is a waste is a pretty bold statement. Not to mention my car pulls hard past 8k.
go with the buschur cast manifold hta3582, it has a smaller dsm flanged hotside which will spool faster like u want but still make the power u want, im starting a 2.4 build and am planning on running this kit since i liked its characteristics on my 2.0

that's what i can remember .. i will try to get 580-600whp on c16 but i don't know which level boost to get this numbers coz my tuner said that to get 600 whp we have to run 37-38 of boost
