Anybody heard of TaipanXP exhausts?

I did a search all i found was that it was rare and not many ppl have it? When I bought my VIII, it came with the full turbo back system from TaipanXP, searched online, found that they are in Australia but little info on the actual system. anyone know anything about it?

Thanks

It is/was made in Taiwan, not mainland China.

It's a 3" stainless system of good build quality. Vishnu sold it for years here in the U.S., perhaps they still do(?). I have one on my car, modded by Drifto to fit my custom turbo setup. The TaipanXP has a very nice sounding muffler, and isn't too loud.

Made in Australia. I never used them on the EVO, but I got into them for the Nissan Patrol 4.8litre petrol 4x4s. Beautiful manifolds and straight backs

I acquired one of these when I bought my used turbo kit. Never put it on my car though since I already had a catback.

Any info would be definitely interesting.

That sounds about right. TAIPANXP stuff is expensive. The staff was really helpful when I dealt with them over the phone, since the model of Nissan Patrol here in the Middle East has a slightly different set-up for the exhaust. They custom made my stuff and it's beautiful work.

Their stuff for EVO VIII http://www.taipanxp.com.au/cars/mitsubishi.html
