Twin disc HELP!!

I just got twin disc installed from a newer clutch company. I never drove a twin disc so I have a couple questions hopefully u guys will know. When I start out in 1st gears sometimes it jerks like the tranny if im going slow it almost feels like wheel hop in a honda but its my tranny... and also when I switch into gears and letting the clutch out it sometime its squeeks/? And in D'cell i get alot of chatter i guess they calll it (vibrating and loud noise almost like a exhaust rattle sound)

The only time you should hear a rattle is when you are pushing the clutch in at idle. Otherwise it should work normally... maybe just grab quicker and harder. I hope they got the plates and discs' lined up correctly.

Something doesn't sound right. I don't believe it should be acting like that.

The squealing sound during engagement is normal. Not every time, but usually when I'm slipping the clutch longer

Sounds like it's a ceramic or semi ceramic clutch? That's where the squealing or chirping when changing gears comes from. Will probably diminish some over time. The chatter on decel when in gear is normal for a twin. May also have some chatter at idle. As far as the jerking, you just need to rev a little higher when taking off.

These things are typical of the metallic, unsprung dual disc clutches (e.g. QM, Tilton, etc.), so you'll just have to get used to it.

FWIW to others who may read this, Exedy and SPEC dual disc clutches do not have these issues.
