I think charlie will tell you that his car was a combination of his budget and tuning, and my suggested parts and tuning...

he asked me what i thought he should do, i gave him the list, he checked everything off, and together with lots of time of us both experimenting with the tune it made MEGA power on our dyno...

for reference, our TA car on pump 93 octane with buschur tuning made 430whp ad 400wtq... with a larger turbo, 2.3 liter, etc...

the BBK does its thing where it needs to

Pics and some info on the new HTA Green now up on FP website.
http://store.forcedperformance.net/m..._Code=Turbo-FP

Looks like a 73mm compressor exducer, and what appears to be the same turbine wheel as the Red. (Hard to tell in the one pic showing turbine wheel though)

Can this new HTA Green be ordered with the standard IX compressor housing. Or, is it only available with FP's anti-surge compressor housing? I know that the FP Red can be ordered either way. So, likewise, can this new HTA Green be configured with either housing? I imagine so....

Has FP published or is there a common consensus on the exact wheels being used in this new HTA Green? Obviously, the compressor wheel is a new HTA item. But are there any specs on its diameters and blade configuration. Also, is the HTA Green still using the standard Green's turbine wheel? Does anyone know at this point? Any word from Robert yet?

Thanks for the link! Didn't you mean to say that it looks like a 73mm "inducer"?

Obviously it has a newly designed and different(than the standard Green)compressor wheel. But, if it were to have the Red's larger turbine wheel as well, then why would they still be calling it a Green?

To my way of thinking it must still retain the standard Green's turbine wheel, and the HTA compressor wheel is the only major change. Otherwise it wouldn't be a Green any longer. It would require a different color nomenclature.

It's a 73mm exducer. The Red has a 76mm exducer. I believe the old Green has a 69.5mm exducer. For reference, the HTA3582R has a 59mm inducer and 82mm exducer.

Wow that dyno of the hta green at cobb tuning is very impressive, 300 ft-lb of torque at what looks to be about 3250 RPM. That turbo looks amazing! 415 torque 452 hp at 24psi geez I wonder what mods that car had.

yeah its kind of odd that it is so far off of what the graph we saw on here was. the car on here was fully bolted with head work and cams and didnt come close to those numbers on a dyno jet running more boost, 25psi. would still like to see an independant mustang dyno graph. i know cobb does some testing for fp because they post up quite a bit on nasioc (subaru forum) with initial test results from fp's turbos before anyone can even get them.

If you save and lighten up the last picture showing the turbine wheel, it becomes clear that it's the red turbine, not the TD06SL2R as used in the dare I say 'old' green.

I won't post that here though, don't want to get kicked...

DBALLZ: At what RPM did you lay down the 469? Nice job

take note that that was done on a 2.3 motor. so on a stock 2L it will probably taker around a few hundred of an rpm later. but the performance is pretty good on pump gas and fairly low boost.
