I launch my evo a good amount, so I want to do what I can try lower my chances of breaking something. What are the best modifications I can make to get my evo prepared for hard launches.

 

buschur moustache bar less harm on rear diff, and ss clutch line for more of a predictable clutch feel for launching.

 

Shep T case & Transmission Build and twin disk clutch. That should hold up for all the launches you can throw at it. Change your t case, rear diff & trans fluid every 10k miles or 6 months.

 

The only real way to avoid breakage is to make it as light as possible and use a good twin disc clutch that will absorb the beating while you slip it...

Aight, I've already pretty much been sold on the Shep Transfer Case so that'll be soon. As for the clutch though, I just installed an ACT street disc and am not really looking forward to doing another clutch on teh evo anytime soon lol.

 

just say a prayer before launching it lol....but if you want it to last a good clutch and fluid change will def help
