that car sounds like mine and i'm no mechanic, but it sounds normal to me? performs fine? i got paranoid once the weather got nice and i could open my windows, i could hear every noise my car made. i think it sounds ok? could be wrong though.

 

I had a similar noise. sounded super charged kinda of was my power steering pump.

 

low speed and low rpm whine are normal. This thread is from 03 and there have been hundreds just like it since then
