I don't know what they'll say but they were great to work with when I did order stuff from them. I also bugged the crap out of them when I had the idea of doing an HTA35R Twin Scroll setup and they were patient with me even with all of my Newb questions. I hope they do something for me.

I'm definately going to have to look more into this. Even if I replace the UICPs with aluminum or stainless I'm still going to have a leaking problem. Looks like I need to make a phone call to Richard from Aquamist.

I honestly don't remember. I know at the time I ordered them I didn't consider what type of material they were made from. I think the guy I spoke to was Eric but it was so long ago that I forget.

i remeber reading a post on bushurs forum when he and ets werent friends. its 3/4 way down on the page i have linked here.

http://buschurforums.com/forum/showt...t=20445&page=3

after this all came up ets started offering stainless pipng at an additional cost, but no where did they inform the customer of what they were buying, that it wasnt stainless, or that they could get stainless. when i bought my intercololer and piping last year it wasnt an option on there web site and when i talked to mike over there he never mentioned it once. they also dont tell you that you can get a garret core instead of their own on their intercooler kits. the garret core has been proven to be better and once again is not an option anywhere on their site when i bought mine nor was i made aware i could even get it.

short story i ended up buying two intercoolers(replaced the ets core with a garret) and have pipes that will rust as well (so eventually i will have to buy new pipes too), what a waste of money in the end! should have never bought the ets kit, 900 dollars ill never get back.

ETS just recently made stainless steel standard for this very reason. Previously, their standard piping was powdercoated mild steel and you had to pay extra to upgrade to stainless.

it would have been nice if they had that actually listed as an option along with the other items that you could choose from like stencil, pipe length, bov flange, etc. or at least could have told the customer there was a stainless option when you talked to them.

i know i sound like i am bashing ets and in a way i kind of am, but it couldnt have taken a company like ets that long to figure out stainless was the right way to do it. dave bushur told them that back in 2007. they chose to continue to sell pipes that were cheaper to produce and made them more money. what is going to be done for the other people, like the op, who bought their kits before they made this change that should have be done from the start?

in the end shame on me for not doing the propper research and just believing ets and all their fan boys. like i said before it sucks having to buy products twice to do it right, but i definately learned my lesson.
