Intercooler Piping...

Hey all,

I'm planning to buy an intercooler piping kit soon and I was just wondering which intercooler piping kits would you recommend? I'm leaning towards the ETS kit right now, but I'm not sure. Please post your experience with your intercooler piping kits and help me decide. Thanks!

stock intercooler or aftermarket?

just make sure it's full stainless steel or aluminum piping and you are set

there are many name brands to choose from and all will give you very very similar gains

Yeah, I'm going to buy an aftermarket kit. And I just wanted to gather as much information as I can before I make my decision.

If you want to replace the upper IC piping, I would go with short route piping. The piping with the stock routing and battery isn't worth the minimal gains, IMO (unless you are doing it for looks). For comparison, I have the AMS lower IC pipe, AMS FMIC, and Muse upper IC piping with a small battery.

i have the ets licp and 3 inch fmic. both have served me well for the last 2 plus years. i opted not to get the uicp because i wanted to retain my stock battery and imo the stock upper intercooler pipe is well designed.

The ETS kit fits and works really well. I've been autoxing mid-afternoon on hot summers days, and the its just so efficient. You can really feel the difference in temp when touching both endtanks.

Hello,

Here is a picture of our polished kit, the default is brushed stainless.

This is what the Brushed Staniless Looks like (Evolution X Kit For Example)

We can also powdercoat Gloss Black, Flat Black and Gloss Silver.

Thanks!

+3 for ETS........ I just got my Kit from Tiago at VR-Speed yesterday and I was amazed at the Quality of the Kit, I was going to go with a Perrin FMIC and a MUSE Kit, but this Kit is far Superior IMO.
