Installed Catback Exhaust

I just installed an HKS Hi-Power catback exhaust system yesterday. Will I need to reset the ecu? If I reset it what is the procedure? I know for hondas/acuras all I would need to do is pull the neg terminal for the battery and start the car and let it idle for about 5min without reving it. Is it the same for the EVO? Or will the ecu relearn itself? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Weird... I've never heard of resetting the ECU for an exhaust.

why not?? thats a good idea...i would let the ECU you learn all over again, but this time beginning with an exhaust...good thinking.

Does killing the power to the ECU really reset it? Maybe it's a Mitsu thing, but on all my Nissans in the past pulling the power never worked, you always had to do a manual reset procedure.

from my understanding: disconnect the battery (-) for a few minutes.
