so i get my downpipe. spend about 30mins heat wraping it.. the downpipe is pretty much resting on the t case.i herd it rattle once. just trying to see whats up since.. well it shouldnt rub. its a 9 mr.,,

 

Might some dumb, are the bolts tight? If so maybe its just the DP.

 

My DP used to rub but after about 2 weeks the rattle or rubbing noise went away

 

You can get a set of Kartboy poly exhaust hangers. But, only install them on the farside, away from the TC and leave the stock(soft) hangers on the side closest to the TC. The stiffer Kartboys on the farside of the DP will pull the exhaust pipe away from the TC. Also, bend the welded on DC DP flanges near the TC but only on the farside away from the TC.

Oh yeah, before installing the kartboys and bending the flange, first loosen the flange bolts that mate the DP to the Catback section of the exhaust. Retighten the flange bolts only after you`re done tinkering.
