Happend to me with a Koyo that was fixed from a leak, my car use to get hot when it was just sitting and fine when it was running. I brought the CBRD slim radi and slim fan and DAM!! I must say so my self it's running cooler than ever right under the middle problem solved!

Same here bout the CBRD slim radiator and the car never even see's the middle of the temp gauge. Along with the mishimoto thermostat it runs very very cool.

Im guess your problem might be a air pocket in the cooling system. Short in the thermostat sensor.

I actually think my stock radiator performed better while sitting still, but the Koyo and slim fan, my second one seems to be working fine now. yeah maybe the thermostat is bad.

What have you tested? Have you verified the thermostat is opening? Have you verified the actual temperature of the coolant (coming into and out of the radiator) ? Did you bleed the system ?

Have you checked for a head gasket leak (not coolant leak ) ? - check for exhaust gas in your coolant....

people under estimate fans... make sure you have a decent fan...if there is no proper airflow...the biggest radiator doesnt mean squat

does the radiator feel hot? have you check the coolant temp? unless theres something physically wrong with the radiator i can assure you that PWR makes great radiators. i use one for both my GTR and evo and i dont have a problem with heating. mind you i dont race or rally. just like a computer i like to keep things cool as possible. you didnt mention anything about the fan, id assume your still using the orginal fan. i know if you got thr 55mm PWR radiator you had to get a slimline fan

make sure the thermo is opening and "burp" the system to make sure there is no air pockets.
I am going to guess its something as easy as air pockets if everything ran fine before.
