Weird 3rd gear shifting problem

For the past 3 days, I been having a problem with shifting from 2nd gear around 4000 RPM to 3rd gear quickly. It happens around not much, but around 15-25% of the times. Lets say I'm on 2nd gear, I would sometimes shift around 4000 RPM quickly into 3rd gear and it would not go in. It would feel I have not depressed the clutch pedal at all and there is something hard blocking it. However if I'm at a somewhat high RPM on 2nd gear and clutch in for a couple of seconds then shift to 3rd gear, it would go in smoothly. Does anyone know what is going on? The car I'm having problem on is a 2003 Evo VIII GSR with 36k~ miles. Everything is stock on the car too.

Thanks!

Dam, am having similar prblem. But, shifting quickly at high rpms.. kinda grinds doesnt engage in gear... I havent had time to adjust clutch, you can try that... Or maybe new fluid>?

Wouldn't I be grinding in 3rd gear if it was synchro problems? It seems like the clutch isn't disengaged when I shift into 3rd

It was fine after my fluid change, I just noticed it couple of days ago. I can still drive the car perfectly fine, its just that I don't try to rev too high on 2nd gear to 3rd gear. Should I just keep driving it like that and wait to get it fix?
