greddy rs bov owners please help

ok so i have a greddy rs bov on the car and at part throttle its flutters like crazy i adjusted both ways and still does

at wide open throttle it runs great

so i just took it apart and it looks like the diaphram is in good condition no tears but there is two springs inside one inside of the other is this normal? or should there only be one

anyways i just want this thing to stop fluttering at partial throttle so any help would be appreciated
thanks

AG

Keep an eye on the diaphragm too. I did the 1 spring mod to mine which helped, but later on it started fluttering again and I opened it up to find several small cuts on the diaphragm.

Sell it and get the APS. I've had the Greddy, Forge and now APS.

The APS uses a heavy brass piston instead of a low-mass push rod and diaphragm like the Greddy and Forge. The brass piston is a mass damper for the system and doesn't flutter like the low-mass diaphragms.

You just need to make sure the APS gets taken apart and cleaned every now and then.

The solution is simple. Sell it and buy a stock metal MR or IX bov. Install it, crush it slightly if you want to run more than 30psi. Driveability will be greatly improved and you will hold boost just fine. I ran the forge (tried every possible spring combo) and it sucked. I switched to the RS, same thing but not as bad, but still made me mad as hell @ part throttle. Eventually got sick of it and got an I BOV, and I havent looked back.

take 1 of the springs out. you will notice it blow off and shut quicker.
I did this with my 240sx and it was having the fluttering problem.
