so you're saying that those <Sparktech knockoff> coils are better than spark tech's system? as for the look, spark tech's system looks a lot cleaner. the spoolinup kit looks kinda slapped together. has anyone tested these against the spark tech's yet?
i will be testing this system out very soon, spoolinup owner is very nice guy and can help you out with any question you have.

I have one of Tallen's non CDI cops on my car making 551awhp Mustang on pump gas. It has performed flawlessly. I know of several other 400awhp cars running his cop as well with no issues whatsoever.

In a few weeks I'll be turning the boost up higher and putting in some race gas. I fully expect the product to continue to work well.

give me a break. the guy's work is okay, but compared to the other products it does look half assed. at least look at the products before commenting. i have no problem with the ones that he's making. if you want to buy the parts, more power to you. personally, i don't like the way his setup looks. it looks cheap, and it won't fit under the stock spark plug cover...or any plug cover for that matter. it just looks slapped together, and it's not THAT much cheaper. i'll go back to my earlier point: people like you are coming out of the woodwork to defend and recommend a product you not only know nothing about, but also have never seen, and you're not running it yourself and probably don't know anyone who is. so why are you even posting?
Yet you are bashing a product under your opinion also...foot in mouth much?

Keep in mind that I was kind enough to sponsor this site and show the the community that I am here to support them, so you should mind the rules toward vendor bashing. I have lofty goals for the next version of the product, as well as the catch can kit I have planned that will be unlike any being produced. You asked the kind gentleman who replied how he can support a product without using it. How exactly can you put down a product without using it? Please don't judge a book by it's cover.

Lets get a couple facts straight here. We coined the phrase NON-CDI and the reason WE gave it that name is because we have a CDI version. The correct name would be INDUCTIVE...

Very creative there Tallen. By the way did you find the plug and play connectors you pm'd me asking me to sell them to you or are you still using USED ones from a junkyard?

I see your harnesses are sealed...How do you seal the plastic wire loom that is split down the middle...do you use silicone like you do on the ends?

As a mod you should know better to research facts before throwing out conjectures and opinionated BS. Come on to DCEvoclub and ask if his product is total ****. Please test the product before bashing it. Maybe Tallen should upgrade his vendor status to Titanium or write a nice check to Evom so he could be protected from scrutiny.

Sorry I did not realize that name issue. I will be sure to make that change.

I have a nice supply of connectors from China, thanks. It appears you have seen one of my older kits. The newer version still does use silicone to maintain an excellent seal near the connector. My harness does not sit down on the hotter COP surface, so I have no need to maintain a perfect seal around the wires. Tefzel, as you know, is an excellent wire. Been using it since I was introduced to it in my Aviation classes in college.

I don't think Billy knew I signed up to vendor. We will let that go. Let's be civil!

But. but I troll.

But things like this happened before. If I remember correctly, several vendors got one vendor removed because they couldny compete with his prices.

i'm not bashing anyone's product. also, look up the definition of "foot in the mouth" and try to use it correctly. i believe the description you were looking for would be "hypocrite much?" but again, i didn't bash anything. i simply gave the reasons i didn't buy the system.

that post wasn't for you. i was asking why the guy who knows nothing about either system, and doesn't run either is posting so strong against the spark tech unit.

also, i'm not bashing your product. like i said above, i'm just giving the reasons that i didn't buy it. all these people coming in telling me about their high hp EVO's don't mean much to me. my car is almost stock. i just want something i know will work, and work for a LONG LONG TIME. your system doesn't look like it's put together very well and i wonder about it's long term durability. there's also not enough test data out there on it. i don't like being a test dummy. i spent the money on a much nicer unit that's proven. also, it looks 100x's better and WILL fit under my spark plug cover. that is important to me. a few extra $ is worth the quality.

I didn't say it was total ****; I said it's a blatant ripoff of SparkTech's which isn't put together as well (from the pictures I've seen - entirely possible the recent work is good). I think he did his homework on the copy job so functionally it's the same.

Of course, you could probably argue that SparkTech's ignitions are copies of others, and so on...

I did not. I trust I can rescind the last part of my statement.

you're talking about YO Parts. YO Parts was whack as hell anyway. their prices sucked. i looked at them for many many parts before i ever knew they were a vendor here. i ALWAYS found better prices with either Jeff at 500whp, or Calvin at SpeedElement.

anyway, business is competitive and cut throat. boys will be boys. i say let'em play.
