Seriously? Another Cam gear sensor goes bad?
What is the material that the cam sensor shield you installed is made of? Is it carbon fiber or aluminium? When you've run your car hard, is it hot to the touch?
Indy Evo / Wilson cam sensor shields are carbon fiber (non-metallic) and come with a highly reflective barrier as well, so they don't absorb any heat which can be retransmitted to the sensitive sensor...

This is the first I have heard of this problem with one of our products. I don't think it's the manifold if you were having the same problem with the cast manifold. Did you try the test of pulling the "BAD" unit out and putting it right back in and seeing if it still works? Can you test resistance and see if the sensor is bad?
If there is something we can do, let us know!

I was not at all blaming it on your manifold Michael, please don't take it the wrong way.. But from what I was understanding that was a known cause of them going bad (the fact that tubular manifolds are close to the sensor), But I know there are tons of people running your turbo kit without any issue.
Thanks,
Michael
Did your issue ever get resolved?
I'm having a similar problem: the car barely wants to start and occasionally throws the P0340 code. Other times it starts right up and is firing on all four cylinders. I'm trying to go through all the wiring to see if I can find the culprit. I think it's either one of the coilpacks or the actual sensor wiring. I had the car was running on cylinders 1 & 4 and I played w/ the cables behind the valvecover to get 2 & 3 firing. It's frustrating to say the least.

i am having the same type of thing go on with my car i thought it was in the tune i had it re tuned and we watched it on the data logger it did not send a knock signal or anything so my tuner suggested that my crank angle sensor may be the cause for the ecu to trip out like that im getting random cylinder misfire code so im goin through the ignition system as well ill let ya know if i come up with anything
