Boost controller installation

I have to install a gizzmo EBC into my e4, is it absolutely necessary to cap off the stock solenoid nipples or you can just leave it open out and should i unplug the harness that goes to it? Will that affect the running of the car when raising boost?

If you unplug the harness, you will throw a CEL.

yep, just cap off the nipples if you don't have caps just use a small piece of hose from one nipple to the other

You could just loop the stock hose...prob the most common way that everyone does it on here.

You can disable the BCS somewhere in ECUFlash. We did it to my car a few years ago. I just got around to unplugged the harness and I have no CEL.
