RED Build

I plan on Doing a FP Red turbo build on my 2005 evo 8. I just wanted to post to see what you thaught the best combination of mods would be for the build.

2005 evo 8
Tbe catless and sso2 housing
i/c
fuel pump
720cc injectors
exede twin disk
hks 280apexi intake
mbc
agency power bov


Mods added with red

epm O2 dump
Fp wg
port mani
port Intake and TB
cam gears
SMC Meth Kit
springs and retainers
1000cc injectors

Looking at the mods i am thinking about doing with my turbo what would you add in to the set up or what parts would you change. Thanks

You only need about 780cc injectors w/ a red and meth.

with springs and retainers might as well go ahead and just do the head. Port that sucker and have it worked to a stage III to get the most out of it. I would initially agree that 780 inj. might be enough with meth, but if you plan on running getting the most out of your red and some point going to 1000's doesn't sound impractical. Good luck you won't be dissapointed. I am currently doing a similar build, but with complete bottom end as well.

Skip the SMC kit and get a more modern unit like the Aquamist HFS-1 or HFS-6; these come with an actual failsafe that you can integrate with the ecu and keep your car on the road

Also, what is 'i/c' ...intercooler? Which one do you have? They're not all the same.

When I had my head apart for a HG I did springs, I upgraded from hks 280's to kelford 272's at the same time. the hks 280's are awesome, but you'll get more top-end with the kelfords.
