Cuts out at only at WOT

Ive been searching and searching to find a solution, but I havent found anyone that had the exact same issue yet.

The car runs great, doesnt miss a beat until you go WOT. As soon as it builds 10psi the car cuts (not sure if its fuel or boost). It car build more than 10psi of boost part throttle without breaking up and cutting out.

I did gap and replace the spark plugs. I did check all my clamp to make sure they were tight. I replaced the wastegate lines.

Im not sure what it is...I wondering if anyone can shed some light on this issue. I feel like I might be missing something obvious here

Thanks for the reply,

I have them gapped at .027 I will definately start by gapping them down. I would hate to go to the dyno tomm. like this, but maybe its something a tune could fix.

Did you boost leak test the car?
Do you have a Wideband in the car? If so what does it show at WOT?

Is the car sputtering when you reach this threshold??? I had a similiar situation and I ended up replacing my ignition coils & wires with a newer set and it did the trick.

I do have a wideband, but it cuts out so quickly its hard to say what the A/F is.

I did not boost leak test the car yet, b/c I figured if I can build 17psi at 3/4 throttle, then Im not bleeding off boost. Then again I could be wrong...

This feels like fuel/boost cut. Did yours only do it @ WOT? This is the only time it does. Its not sputtering or missing, it simply just cut all power.

Car's mods are TBE and intake. The car was "street tuned" by the previous owner, so Im unsure of the quality of tune I have a date tomm. to have it dyno tuned, Id just hate to show up like this...

Tried gapping the plugs down to .024-025 and nothing changed. Its definately some kind of fuel/boost cut thats happening ONLY @ WOT.

Your hitting boost cut. Up the boost cut in your ROM with ecuflash and you should be all set.

how many miles on your ignition coils & wires? Might explain why it's breaking up under WOT. . .or maybe your local gas station isn't giving you "true" 93? Could retard timing because of that. . .

The car is not breaking up. It's not ignition related bc it simply cuts.

It does not spit, sputter, misfire, ect...When I go WOT and it build about 10psi, it hits a brick wall.

I already put different gas in from another gas station. Still the same thing.

Im taking the car to Shane @ DB Tuning this afternoon, hopefully we can sort it out. Ill report back then.

Well I figured it out...the NO LIFT to SHIFT was engaging when I would go WOT. I had recently adjusted my clutch so it must of messed with how it was set. Car works perfect and made 242whp & 232tq on 22psi on a Dynamic Dynameter.

Thank you! After checking my plugs and double checking my fuel cut settings I was about to replace/upgrade my coils. Turns out it was just NLTS activating the fuel cut. I recently adjusted my clutch pedal engagement point via by losening the bolts and turning the rod underneath the steering column...the change somehow conflicted with my NLTS settings. As soon as I switched NLTS off the car pulls all the way to redline like a beast! Thank you sooooo much!
